Johann Friedrich Fasch~~~~4572~4573~~
Ouverture in D, FWV K: D2~Edited by Brian Clark.

This three movement work may originally have been the Sinfonia to one of Fasch's lost operas, or it might have been copied in Dresden for use in a church service. It is scored for two horns, three trumpets and drums, two oboes, bassoon and strings. The French ouverture is followed by a D minor movement without the brass, which leads to an nergetic final Allegro.
