This cantata was not included in Rüdiger Pfeiffer's catalogue of Fasch's music because the collection in a church in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria was unknown at that time. It belongs to a cycle Fasch wrote for Zerbst in 1732/33 and consists of an aria for Tenor, a recitative that features the other three voices, an Alto aria and a final chorale.
