Following the 8-bar introduction, this setting of verses from Psalm 25 for Soprano, Alto, Bass, two violins and continuo has three sections; there are solos for the three voices at the work's heart, framed by tuttis in which the violins fully participate in a wonderfully rich harmonic texture.
