This cantata for the Feast of the Annunciation is the first of the Vienna cantatas to be published. Scored for SATB, strings and continuo, it consists of a Sinfonia, an accompanied Recitative for Alto, an aria in which the Bass sings the first section and the Tenor the second, a Chorale, a Soprano aria, and finally a chorus.
