Scored for two oboes, bassoon, strings and continuo, this is one of Fasch's most popular suites and has been recorded several times. The sequence of movements is as follows: Ouverture, Air, Gavotte, Air, Bouree and Menuets 1 & 2 (the latter for the winds only). The bassoon has a prominent solo role in both Airs.
