Ouverture in G, GWV466~Edited by Kim Patrick Clow.

This suite is scored for 2 horns, timpani (not an unusual combination in Darmstadt works!), strings and continuo (including bassoon), and - just for one movement - a flute. The sequence is as follows: Ouverture, Air en Rondeau, Air, Menuets 1 & 2, Rejouissance, Uccellino chiuso (a caged bird, apparently such as were used during hunts, with the flute as mentioned above!), Air alla polonese and, to finish, a third Menuet.
