Introduzzione~Edited by Brian Clark.
This piece may originally have been the ouverture to an opera or a serenata (which the composer was required to write several times a year for court festivities). It has three movements and is scored for trumpet, pairs of oboes and horns, strings and continuo. The central D minor
Andante is just for strings.
