Violin Concerto in D minor~Edited by Brian Clark.
This fine three-movement concerto survives in the composer's manuscript, which is now in the Royal Conservatory Library in Brussels. The two outer movements are particularly dramatic - Hertel seems to enjoy using
Sturm und Drang effects - while the central slower movements is an oasis of piece.
Performing set: Score and a set of single parts. Extra parts are available.
