Ouverture in E minor, FWV K: e1~Edited by Brian Clark.
It was with the orchestral suite that the young Fasch first found appreciation for his music - he copied out one of his early works and successfully passed it off to his fellow students at Leipzig University as the work of his idol, Telemann. This example (scored for two flutes, two oboes, basoon and strings) consists of a lengthy French Overture, followed by a sequence of dances and airs. The second minuet is for the five woodwind players alone.
Performing set: Score and a set of single parts. Extra parts are available.
