Antiphons for Marian Vespers~These
stile antico antiphons are the perfect companions to our Biber Marian Vespers editions. Performed before (and, technically speaking, after) each of the required psalms and the Magnificat, the antiphons (for the Conception and Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary) begin with plainchant. The bass voice continues with the chant tone in longer notes while the upper voices add often model-sounding harmony.
