Eusebia~The first suite from Muffat's
Florilegium Primum of 1695,
Eusebia consists of an overture and six dances, including two gigues. Richly harmonic, it is perhaps more influenced by the French style than the Italian, but also clearly demonstrates Muffat's own importance as an early orchestral composer.
