Viderunt omnes~Vanhal was a prolific composer of chamber and orchestral music. In later life, he devoted much of his time teaching and writing church music. This gradual, intended to be performed during the Third Mass on Christmas Day, is scored for SATB (soloists and chorus), two clarinets, two horns, timpani, two violins and organ continuo. Lasting around two and a half minutes, this jolly piece with modest solo parts is ideal for church choirs.

Sonata in C~This is the first of a set of six sonatas which form Vanhal's Op. 2. While the first violin part is quite challenging, the second violin and cello have a relatively easy time, making this ideal for a teacher and two pupils (or three, if one plays a keyboard and can follow the continuo part!)
