Ave martyr gloriosa~St Barbara suffered a terrible fate at the hands of her own father. Clemens's two-part motet, published in the 1530s, compares her to the red rose of paradise and the lily of chastity. It is scored for SSAATB but can also be sung by AATTBB, perhaps transposed down a tone.
