Fantasy for five-part viol consort~The five-part texture, relatively slow-moving harmonies, and sinuous melodic lines of the second section of Bach's Pièce d'Orgue, BWV 572, suggested that its origins lay in consort music. Using the earlier, more sparsely ornamented version as a model, our arrangement deviates from it in only three places, while added trills are clearly distinguishable from Bach's own mordents.

Brandenburg 3 slow movement~Anyone planning a performance of Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and wondering what to do about a slow movement may be interested in this piece of shameless pastiche... It last around one minute, gives all ten players an independent line, and ends with the phrygian cadence of the original.
