| Johann Christian Röllig | Until recently much of the music attributed to "Röllig" has been assumed to be the work of Johann Georg Röllig, the long-time vice-Kapellmeister at Zerbst (where he worked with Fasch and Hoeckh), but Nigel Springthorpe has recently discovered that much of it was actually the work of his younger brother, Johann Christian Röllig, who was active around Dresden and Meissen.
