Joseph Meck is widely credited as being among the first native composers to adopt the Vivaldian concerto model in Germany. He did the job so well that one of his works was actually believed to be by Vivaldi until recently. Even more recently, however, the 12th of the pieces published as his own Opus 1 set has been shown to have been composed by Vivaldi's slightly older contemporary, Giuseppe Tagliatti - all very complicated!
Meck's concertos are all in the three movements and are of medium difficulty, making them excellent pieces for young violinists.
