Jean-Joseph Cassanéa de Mondonville

Celebrated as much in his own day as a virtuoso violinist and composer of France's most-prized church music, Mondonville also found time to write operas and cantatas and publish several sets of chamber music. This edition of his opus 2 trio sonatas was prepared for Ensemble Diderot's 2016 recording, and is now made available for general release.
