This second cantata called Siehe, das ist Gottes Lamm dates from 1725 and sets a text by Johann Friedrich Helbig (1680-1722). It too is scored for SATB, (2 oboes), strings and continuo, but is quite unusual in having no recitatives - instead, the opening aria is followed by a chorale, before three more arias lead to a second chorale
