The horn and timpani parts might have been an after-thought: Graupner wrote out a typically neat score with just string parts but by the time he wrote out the title-page,
he had added "2 Corn. e Tympan: se piace" ("2 horns and timpani, ad lib.") He scribbled parts for these three instruments in bass clef on a separate sheet.
