March for Six Violas

Brian stumbled upon this piece while working in the Conservatory Library in Brussels: it dates from 1854 and is a real joy to play.
The music may seem a little cheesy, but it's an extremely effective way of showing that the viola isn't a joke!

March for Six Clarinets

This is a simple arrangement for woodwind of the above march.
I replaced all the repeating patterns in the original with rolling arpeggio figures and trills, which are more idiomatic.
It's surprising how effective the work can be in the right room.
