This cantata for the 22nd Sunday after Trinity (Sunday) follows the sequence: Chorale (not the expected hymn tune!) – Recitative – Aria – Recitative– Aria – Chorale (also not as you might expect). It dates from 1742, but is catalogued as belonging to 1753, as it seems to have been repeated in that year.
